tempoyak recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ikan patin
  • 75gm tempoyak
  • 10gm daun kesum
  • 10gm shallot
  • 10gm ginger
  • 10gm garlic
  • 10gm turmeric
  • 10gm galangal
  • 1 nos lemon grass
  • 15gm bird eye chilli
  • salt
  • 3 nos tamarind(dry)

Directions
  1. u can blend or ketuk (using lesung batu-the best way) the shallot,ginger,garlic,turmeric,galangal & bird eye chilli.
  2. in a pot, add about 500ml of water.
  3. place the fish in.
  4. add in the blended ingredients,tempoyak,daun kesum & dry tamarind.
  5. on the fire, in moderate.
  6. season to taste.
